A warm welcome from all of us here at Courthill First School. Our school is a vibrant, happy and exciting place to learn. We were rated as ‘Outstanding’ in an Ofsted review (March 2011) with the last full Ofsted inspection taking place in July 2008. We continue to strive to achieve the best we possibly can for all our pupils. We are a four form entry first school located in the heart of the Parkstone community in Poole, Dorset. Children currently attend our school between the ages of 4 and 8 years of age. We are the oldest first school in Poole and celebrated our centenary in April 2012.
In September 2013 our school will become an Infant School which will mean that children will attend between the ages of 4 and 7 years of age. Children will spend three years with us and leave at the end of Key Stage One (Year Two) when they will then move on to a Junior School of your choice.
Our Courthill vision and values underpin all we do at the school and our aim is to create a happy and secure environment where each child is encouraged to achieve his or her potential.
We hope you find the website useful. If you are a pupil then look out for the kidzone, learning resources and gallery pages. For parents there is lots of information such as the news page, recent newsletters and letters home, useful forms, PTA page and Buy for Courthill where the school makes money whenever you buy items through links to retail websites.
We welcome any comments you have and value your support in helping make Courthill
First a school we can all be proud of.
